Experience the wonders of Tanzania's "northern circuit" on this compact 4-day Lodge Safari. Explore three renowned reserves, including Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti National Park. With their diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife, this safari offers something for every traveler, making it the perfect choice for those with limited time.

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara

After a morning briefing, embark on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park. This small park stretches along the Rift Valley Escarpment, featuring the stunning alkaline Lake Manyara adorned with vibrant flamingos. The park boasts over 400 bird species and a diverse habitat that houses monkeys, giraffes, antelopes, and elephants. Keep an eye out for the elusive Manyara lions lounging in trees. In the late afternoon, depart for the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge, your overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, your journey will take you through the lush and fertile crater highlands, where the Iraqw people cultivate wheat, corn, and coffee. En route, you'll traverse the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, eventually arriving at the vast Serengeti National Park around midday. The Serengeti, Tanzania's largest park, boasts an array of habitats and landscapes, including short grass plains, savannahs, dense bush, wetlands, mountains, and lakes. Scattered across the grassy terrain, you'll encounter peculiar rock formations known as Kopjes, often serving as prime hunting

grounds for predators.

Depending on the season of your visit, you'll have the opportunity to witness the remarkable migration of thousands of animals for which this park is renowned. During the brief rainy season in November and December, the herds migrate from the northern hills to the southern plains. Then, during the lengthier rainy season from April to June, they make their way back up north. This cyclical journey is intricately linked to the annual rainfall patterns, and the precise locations of the herds may vary from year to year. Rest assured, your knowledgeable guide will be well-equipped to locate the animals and provide you with the best viewing opportunities. Your night's accommodation will be at the Kati Kati Tented Camp.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

The break of dawn is the best time for wildlife observation, prompting to wake up early in the morning for a game drive. Following this, you'll return to camp for breakfast before embarking on another thrilling game drive within the park. In the Seronera region, it's common to witness wildebeests and zebras in close proximity to formidable predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

After a satisfying picnic lunch, your journey will lead you

towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Upon reaching the

crater rim, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of 600-meterdeep collapsed volcano. Your accommodation for the night will

be at the Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp, perched on the crater's rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha

A Memorable Safari Adventure: Exploring the Ngorongoro Crater.

Begin your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a drive down the steep and narrow road leading to the crater. As you descend, the forested slopes give way to breathtaking savannah terrain. Keep your eyes peeled for the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – as you explore the area and its stunning wildlife. With a bit of luck, you'll catch a glimpse of these majestic animals in just a few hours. You can also expect to see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and over 500 species of birds in the area. After a morning of game drive and a picnic lunch, it's time to leave the crater in the early afternoon and head back to Arusha. You'll arrive in the early evening, bringing an end to an unforgettable safari experience
