This safari offers an authentic camping experience with the choice of spending three nights in a budget-friendly lodge, allowing you to connect with the heart of Africa and its majestic wilderness.

Day 1: Materuni Waterfalls & Kikuletwa Hot Springs

Our day kicks off at 7:30 a.m., as we embark on a journey towards the Kilimanjaro region, passing through the charming Kishumundu settlements en route to the highlands of Materuni village. A 45-minute ascent will lead us to a magnificent waterfall, followed by an insightful tour of a local coffee plantation.

Our aim is to relish the first half of the day there. Subsequently, we will make our way to the Kikuletwa Hot Springs, where we can indulge in the soothing, temperate waters and the unique experience of swimming with doctor fish (Garra rufa), offering a complimentary pedicure. Later in the day, we'll return to Arusha for a delightful dinner and a restful night at the Karibu Heritage House.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast, we'll pick you up from your hotel and embark on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. This renowned park is famous for its multitude of ancient baobab trees, some of the largest on the continent, and for the impressive herds of elephants that roam its vast landscapes. From the open-top vehicle, you'll have the opportunity to observe the beauty of Tarangire River, the sweeping savannah, and seasonal marshes.

The park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including an abundance of bird species, graceful giraffes, elegant impalas, zebras, majestic lions, elusive leopards, imposing elands, spirited warthogs, and the iconic elephants. Our journey will include a stop at a picturesque picnic area, offering breathtaking views.

Here, we'll savor a delicious picnic lunch before resuming our thrilling game viewing activities. As the day comes to a close, we'll make our way to the Fig Tree Lodge, where you can unwind, relish a delightful dinner, and spend the night, ready to continue your safari adventure in the

heart of Tarangire.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Our journey to the Serengeti sets off right after breakfast. While it's a lengthy and bumpy road, roughly spanning 4-5 hours, it offers a fantastic opportunity for wildlife spotting. As we ascend through the crater highlands, you'll be treated to mesmerizing views. This path eventually leads to the expansive plains of the Serengeti.

Before we delve into the park for an exciting afternoon game drive, we'll take a break for a picnic lunch. Following this thrilling experience, we'll make our way to the Seronera Campsite. There, you can unwind and relish a delightful dinner while watching the breathtaking sunset, and then retire for the night in comfort.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Our entire day will be dedicated to the park's wonders. As the first light of dawn breaks, we'll set out on a full-day exploration. Our journey will encompass an extensive wildlife drive through the captivating landscapes of the Serengeti, as we seek encounters with the Big Five.

After a morning filled with adventure, we'll return to our campground for a hearty cooked lunch. Later in the afternoon, we'll embark on another exhilarating game drive. It's worth noting that the Serengeti isn't solely the domain of large mammals; it's also a sanctuary for over 500 bird species.

From the grandeur of the ostrich to the unique grace of the secretary bird in the open grasslands and the majestic flight of black eagles over the savannah, the birdlife here is truly remarkable. As the sun begins its descent, we'll make our way back to camp, where you can savor a delicious dinner and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay, in anticipation of more exciting adventures in the Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

To catch the magical sunrise and witness the animals at their most vibrant, we will set our alarms quite early today, around 6:00 am. After a brief pause at a designated picnic area for a bush breakfast, our wildlife exploration will resume.

By midday, we'll make our way back to the camp for a satisfying hot lunch. Once we've recharged, we'll prepare our vehicle, bid adieu to our current camp, and journey to Ngorongoro. There, we'll savor a delicious dinner and spend the night at the welcoming Simba Campsite, ready for more adventures on the horizon.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

Following an early breakfast, our journey leads us directly to the Ngorongoro Crater. This awe-inspiring location is home to a vast array of East African wildlife species, and if luck is on our side, we may even spot the elusive black rhino.

As the day unfolds, you'll have the choice to enjoy a hot lunch either at the camp or opt for a picturesque picnic at the Hippo Lake. Following this, our path will take us to the Fig Tree Lodge, where you can relax, indulge in a delightful dinner, and settle in for a restful night, surrounded by the wonders of the Ngorongoro Crater

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park

After a satisfying breakfast, a short five-minute journey will bring us to the entrance of the park. Lake Manyara, known for its tree-climbing lions, is a compact yet fascinating wildlife haven. A significant portion of the park is occupied by a salt lake that fluctuates with the seasons, offering a habitat to tens of thousands of flamingos and over 300 other bird species.

The park's diverse landscape includes grassy plains, woodlands teeming with primates, and cliffs adorned with majestic baobab trees. Our aim is to return to Arusha by 4:00 pm, but we remain flexible to accommodate any adjustments needed, especially for those who may have a flight to catch.
